The Entry Hall of the house before we the renovation was large, but it didn’t connect you directly to the busy part of the house; the Kitchen. We bumped out the back of the house and extended the Entry Hall all the way back to the new Kitchen space, providing for a dramatic natural light filled in either direction.
Unlacquered brass final touches paired with inset Carrera marble countertops and the walnut island give the kitchen a truly lux and timeless look, that’s also fun to cook in.
Intricate tile work evoke the feeling of bathing in an old English country manor, complete with dressing chamber, vanity room, and separate water closet.
This Kitchen and Dining are located inside the new addition, taking advantage of the proximity to the back yard and the natural light that can now flood in through the lower roof’s skylights.
A complete transformation of this historic colonial that celebrates the traditional structure, harmonizes the functionality of the home for a contemporary family and maximizes the views to the park. Every detail & surface of the house was thoughtfully designed to create an inviting and welcoming home.
